I am late to the Instagram game, but I love it nonetheless. At first I wrote it off as a hokey photo-editing app, all too well embraced by the hipster community. However, it amazes me that it can create effects that would otherwise take me up to half an hour to achieve on Photoshop. A step reached only once I’ve hauled out my Nikon D300, uploaded the photos to my hard drive, and then converted to an editable file type.

Granted, the resolution is more than half of that which I would get using my camera, but for the purposes of online & mobile viewing, it doesn’t really matter.
